Showcase Book – For All Depts

After Spring Break, the Showcase Book at the front desk will list the order of performances.  Music/Drama Showcase is listed first, and then the Dance Showcases are listed.  For dance performances, look next to your performer’s costume to see which day you perform.

 

Costume Balances Due –Dance Dept.

Costume balances are due with February tuition, with costumes arriving in March and April.  Costumes will not go home until your account balance is paid in full.  If an exchange is needed, the exchange fee is your responsibility.

 

SHOWCASE DATES

Dance Department 

The Dance Department Showcases will be performed at the Stoughton High School Auditorium located at 600 Lincoln Ave. The dates for the Showcases are as follows:

Dress Rehearsal- May 2, 3, 4 or 5, 2010 6:00 pm

Performances- May 6, 7 & 8, 2010

*Please note that final week of classes is 4/26-4/29*

 

Music & Drama Departments 

The Music & Drama Department Showcases will be performed at the Stoughton Center for the Performing Arts.  The dates for the showcases are as follows:

Dress Rehearsal- Friday, 4/30 starting at 4:00 PM.  Music students must sign up for a 10 minute time slot if you wish to rehearse.  Please see Nicole in the front office by Thursday, April 22 to secure your time slot.

Performances- 5/1/10 at 10:00AM, 1:00PM & 4:00PM

Dance Showcase Music

Your dancer’s music can be purchased for practice at home.  Order forms are available at the front desk.  Only one student per CD, please fill out the form completely.  Deadline for orders is March 1. Cost is $5. Music will be ready by March 22.

 

Showcase Tickets

Tickets will go on sale April 5^,  2010.  The week of

April 5-9, families will be allowed to purchase up to 5 tickets and pick up their performer’s complimentary ticket.  Starting April 12, unlimited ticket purchases are available.  Performer’s complimentary ticket is forfeited if not picked up by April 22.

Reminder

Tuition is due the by the 1^st of each month.  If your account is not paid in full by the 10^th, a $15 late fee will be assessed.  Please check our website, www.stoughtonperformingarts.com for a complete listing of our policies.

Visitor’s Week

April 12 thru April 15

Important information regarding performances will be given this week.

Parents are strongly encouraged to attend.  Please leave street shoes in baskets outside of studio doors. Please bring your costumes with you to class. Costumes should NOT be worn until dress rehearsal.

 

Dance Company

Audition Dates

Dance Company auditions for the 2010-2011 season will be held on May 10 and 12, 2010. Ages 9-12 will audition from 5:00 – 6:30 PM and ages 13+ will audition from 6:30 – 8:00PM.

 

Company & Training Level Photo Night

On Tuesday May 11, 2010 we will be doing a photo shoot for Training Level and Company students. Please remember to bring bobby pins, hairspray, make-up, tights and anything else that you need for photos. Photos will start at 6:00 PM sharp. A photo schedule will be posted by April 28, 2010.
