Dance Company

Placement on Dance Company is by audition only. Auditions are held in May. Company dancers are involved in competitions, performances, conventions, and lecture/demonstrations. They are available for performances for any group or organization.

Many factors contribute to placement including body type, growth rate of bone and muscle, emotional and psychological development, and degree of personal commitment to training. Students are placed in one of our three levels (senior, teen and junior) to master advanced technical skill, consistency, musicality, articulation, strong work ethic, and teamwork within the strict parameters of the art form.

Dance Company Class and Rehearsals Dress Code:
Ballet:  Black leotard with pink tights and pink ballet/pointe shoes.  Jazz/Rehearsals:  Black jazz pants or dance shorts.  Sports bra or leotard, tights not required.  Black jazz shoes.  No jewelry and hair secured as specified in Dance Department Dress Code.  Refer to contract for details.
