Stage Works Projects, Inc. is a non-profit organization which promotes the performing arts through outreach programs, scholarships for continuing education in the performing arts, and performance opportunities. It is through this effort to encourage freedom of expression bridging generations and cultures we add to the richness of life in Southern Wisconsin.

OUR MISSION

Stage Works projects believes that the arts are vital to rounding out a formal education. Our outreach programs introduce students to the “Lively Arts” and demonstrate that art is more than old paintings and broken statues but also movement, the spoken word, and music.

Scholarships are being established to aid students who wish to explore the performing arts. Awards will be based on need, talent, and desire.

Multi-generational casting is a fundamental aspect of our performances and affords performers and technical people of all ages the chance to work with, and learn from, each other. Younger members learn theatrical crafts from older, more experienced hands. The older members learn as well, re-capturing the energy, enthusiasm, and sense of wonder that the younger members bring with them.
